Multimedia Artist

- Amy Caldwell -

Amy Caldwell is an emerging multimedia artist currently studying at Bellarmine University where she explores photography, videography, and a range of other creative mediums through both academic and personal projects. In her digital work, she is particularly drawn to architecture and environments using photography and video to capture spaces and compositions that communicate emotion without relying on human presence. By removing people from the frame she allows structures, objects, and atmospheres to carry feeling, inviting viewers to reflect on the silent language of place and form.

In addition to her digital practice, Amy is beginning to experiment with three-dimensional work, investigating the transformation of organic matter back into organic shape. This exploration reflects her interest in the connections between natural material, natural form, and human manipulation.

Through each of her creative practices, Amy aims to develop an artistic language that transcends cultural and interpersonal boundaries. She hopes that her work can serve as a universal mode of communication—one that encourages reflection and ultimately promotes social change.
